MEJER, Otto Georg Alexander

Giurista, nato il 27 maggio 1818 in Zellerfeld, morto il 24 dicembre 1892 a Hannover. Professore straordinario nel 1847 a Gottinga, ordinario nello stesso anno a Königsberg, chiamato nel 1850 a Greifswald, nel 1851 a Rostock, fu nel 1874 professore di diritto pubblico ed ecclesiastico a Gottinga e nel 1885 presidente del Landeskonsistorium in Hannover.

La sua opera più insigne è una storia dei negoziati concordatarî a partire dal 1815, pubblicata col titolo Zur Geschichte der römischen-deutschen Frage (Rostock 1871-74; Friburgo in B. 1885).
